How do you know when you are “tapped in” and living in alignment with your purpose, passion and higher self?
There are always ‘signs’ little events that strike your attention. These ‘signs’ makes you pause for a second to question and mention in conversation “Did this just happen” or “Did you see that” or “I was just thinking about you when the phone rang” kind of moments. The Universe is always providing us with tid-bits of these kinds of occurrences and examples to show us that we are not alone, but very much apart of the creation of our magical journey. To be fully alive and use greater awareness through the faculty of our eyes, ears, breathe in the smell of flowers, hearing the watery stream from our bedrooms, requires a stronger degree of focus and effort of attention.
For instance, today at lunch with my coworkers among probably 15 or more people my lunch ticket number was 227 and I smiled saying as I signed my credit card bill my lucky 27! Just now while writing this an email came from a coworker about a Zumbathon, I have planned on sponsoring my own Zumbathon but didnt know first hand what one was like and wanted to first test the waters before leaping out to sea! Well wouldnt you know it, here was an invitation to attend on January 25! Coincidence or synchronicity? Is the Universe/Creator telling me to go as planned? Perhaps I am being reminded that I am not alone on my journey but very much in synch with my destiny. Perhaps its the Universe’s/Gods way of ‘showing’ me that being aware of these signs are confirming any doubt I might have in my success or follow through. Paulo Coehlo in The Alchemist states “And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”
The Universal Law of VI. CAUSE AND EFFECT
Every Cause has its Effect; every Effect has its Cause; everything happens according to Law; Chance is but a name for Law not recognized; there are many planes of causation, but nothing escapes the Law. (“THE UNIVERSE EXISTS BY VIRTUE OF THESE LAWS WHICH FORM ITS FRAMEWORK AND WHICH HOLD IT TOGETHER.”)
Interestingly, it was the power of synchronicity to overwhelm the rational mind that held significance for Carl Jung (1875-1961), the Swiss psychiatrist who coined the term and brought the phenomenon to light. Jung recognized that synchronicity, which he defined as meaningful coincidence, had the effect of breaking through the “rationalistic shell” of the modern scientific mind. It is a form of coincidence powerful enough to shatter the notion that material science has discovered all there is to know about the universe. To the person having an experience of synchronicity, the realization dawns that a mysterious force is at play in the world—a kind of “cosmic clock” whose gears operate on a more subtle plane.
Modern science—based on the physical laws of cause and effect—measures and validates the relationship between cause and effect in the dimensions of time and space. What fascinated Jung about synchronicity was its acausal nature. He defined it as an “acausal relationship of events,” as there is no apparent explanation for the occurrence of two simultaneous events, one subjective and one objective. Further adding to the mystery, Jung noted that the occurrence has special meaning for the person who experiences it. This implies that unknown forces in our universe have the capacity to make visible, in the world of concrete form, the contents of the invisible realm of consciousness. (read the full article)
